New actors, designers and other artists are hardly the only new things we’re bringing to Next Act in the 2024-25 season! Here’s what else to look forward to in the coming season:
New Wednesday Matinee
Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. are one of our most popular showtimes, so we’re bringing you even more chances to enjoy shows at that time in the 2024-25 season. Each play this coming season will have three Wednesday matinees at 1:30 p.m. instead of two: we’ve added a Wednesday matinee to the last week of each run. Now is a good time to mark your calendar for those final Wednesdays – or, even better, claim all four with a fixed subscription! Wednesday matinee tickets are some of the least expensive seats of the season (second only to pre-opening Preview tickets), making these performances some of the most affordable ways to enjoy Next Act Theatre shows!
New Rewards Card Businesses
Do you know about the Next Act Theatre Rewards Card? Available only to season ticket holders (fixed subscribers or Flex Pass holders), the Rewards Card entitles bearers to deals and discounts at a number of area businesses. This season, we’re happy to welcome two new businesses onto the card: Ruta’s Fresh Indian Fare and American eatery Merriment Social. Each will join our nine total business partners in offering season ticket holders deals, making it easy to turn your Next Act performance date into a whole day on the town. If you’re not a subscriber yet, but you want to take advantage of these deals, now is the perfect time to get your season tickets!

With plenty of new things on the horizon for our 2024-25 season, one thing that isn’t changing is Next Act’s commitment to intimate, powerful theatre that leaves you with plenty to think about and discuss. The upcoming season is loaded with plays that shine a light on the past, celebrate the present and imagine a better future. With a wealth of talented, recognizable artists involved and a great mix of regional premiere and modern favorite plays, you won’t want to miss a second of this upcoming season.
