More to Come
Other Rental Shows in Summer 2025
Next Act Theatre has already played host to several productions in our performance space since our 2024-25 season ended. These productions, put on by renting organizations using the Next Act performance space, are often very different than what you may be used to seeing at Next Act. Since May 30, we’ve already seen two musicals in our space! The summer isn’t over yet, and there are still three more rental productions to come:

Bombshell Theatre Company returns for THE WEDDING SINGER between July 31 – August 10. It’s 1985, and rock star wannabe, Robbie Hart, is New Jersey’s favorite wedding singer. When his own fiancée leaves him at the altar, Robbie makes every wedding as disastrous as his own. Enter Julia, who wins his affection. As luck would have it, Julia is about to be married to a Wall Street shark, and, unless Robbie can pull off the performance of a decade, the girl of his dreams will be gone forever.

You can also enjoy Bombshell’s production of SIX: TEEN EDITION, August 5 – 7. This is a vibrant, modern retelling of the lives of the six wives of Henry VIII, as they take the stage in a high-energy pop concert. Each queen shares her story, competing to determine who had it the hardest under the notorious king. These historical figures remix five hundred years of their tumultuous lives into an electrifying celebration of girl power, reclaiming their stories for themselves.

Finally, Schmitz n’ Giggles is pleased to present Arthur Miller’s 1947 drama ALL MY SONS between August 14 – 17. Typically known for sketch comedy, parodies, and improv, SnG is excited to bring you an inspired production of Miller’s play, entirely faithful to the original script. Explore this story of loss, sacrifice, family and love with some of SnG’s finest performers at Next Act Theatre’s performance space.
