Next Act at the UPAF Ride for the Arts
By A.J. Magoon, Marketing Director

Next Act racked up miles on Sunday, June 1 at the annual United Performing Arts Fund Ride for the Arts! Our team of nine cyclists consisting of staff, partners and close friends collectively completed 259 miles on the 15-mile closed loop from Lincoln Memorial Drive to Howard Avenue along with more than 3,000 other bikers! It was a beautiful day to take in the sights from the top of the iconic Hoan Bridge. Next Act also staffed a table at the Summerfest grounds to talk about our upcoming season, while Marketing Director A.J. Magoon (as Shakespeare) and local performer Alice Wilson (as Geraldine Jelly the clown) welcomed cyclists back after completing their rides! If you’re interested in participating in the 2026 Ride for the Arts, reach out to Tawnie Thompson, Development Manager, at tawnie@nextact.org or (414) 278-0765 x7.
