DEAR ESTHER
by Richard Rashke
September 16 - October 17, 2004
Esther Raab is not only a survivor. She's a real-life miracle. Having survived and escaped from Sobibor death camp in 1945, she comes to America to start a new life. School children that hear her amazing story write thousands of letters of thanks and encouragement. The play intertwines these letters with Esther's incredible saga, and we become witness to her miraculous transformation as she responds to hate with love; answers despair with eternal hope.
